Jets are paying $40 million to learn what Steelers already knew

The Pittsburgh Steelers' offense came plummeting back down to earth in Week 2 after a dismal showing in their home opener against the Seattle Seahawks. Somehow, Aaron Rodgers managed to throw for merely 37 yards in the first half while leading the Steelers to three second-half points in the 31-17 loss.

But as bad as the passing game looked at times in Week 2, the Steelers can already feel justified in their decision to let Justin Fields walk during the 2025 offseason.

In Week 1 against the New York Jets, Fields torched the Steelers' defense for a 32-point outing.
