When you think of former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis, quite a bit comes to mind. There’s “The Bus” nickname, the Super Bowl XL win in Detroit with him stating the last stop for “The Bus” was in his hometown while hoisting the trophy, and plenty more.
But the one that stands out among all of the rest has to be that moment on Dec. 11, 2005, at then-Heinz Field against the Chicago Bears when Bettis ran over fellow Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher to score a touchdown.
It is the most iconic play of his career, and even 20 years later still lives on as a moment that galvanized the Steelers and spurred them onto their run to Super Bowl XL.
