Pittsburgh Steelers CB James Pierre came up big for the Steelers a few times in the team’s 27-22 win. His biggest play came with an interception with 9:31 left in the second quarter when he intercepted QB Lamar Jackson. That turnover led to a Steelers touchdown. Pierre intercepting Jackson was different from intercepting any other quarterback, as Pierre and Jackson are first cousins and still close.
After the game, Pierre reacted to intercepting his cousin, who he used to catch passes from as a receiver.
“Nah, not necessarily,” Pierre said with a grin via Steelers.
