James Harrison: Steelers ‘Have To’ Stop Bills’ Run Game Or ‘We’re Gonna Have Trouble’

The Pittsburgh Steelers could be in for a long day Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. The Steelers’ defense has continued to stutter and stumble. It’s lacked consistency, and now, it’s about to go up against one of the NFL’s best offenses. Josh Allen hasn’t been as good this season as he was in 2024 when he was named NFL MVP, but he’s still elite. Likewise, running back James Cook is having a great season and is the league’s second-leading rusher. Therefore, James Harrison thinks stopping the run should be a priority for the Steelers’ defense.

“We are going against the number three offense in the NFL, number one in rushing and number nine in passing,” Harrison said Friday on his Deebo and Joe podcast.
