The unimaginable is now official. Aaron Rodgers is a Pittsburgh Steeler after signing his one-year deal today. Perhaps “unimaginable” isn’t the right word but it sure feels appropriate.
Take yourself back to Super Bowl XLV. Would you have ever dreamed the guy carving up our vaunted defense would one day be a Steeler? I sure wouldn’t have but then again, this is the NFL. Loyalty and commitment are largely out the window and one team’s trash is suddenly another team’s treasure.
Rodgers will get $10 million guaranteed of the $13 plus million he has signed for and for the most part… That’s not terrible for a QB these days.
