John Harbaugh may have lost the locker room, but Mike Tomlin certainly hasn’t with the Steelers, Pat Freiermuth knows. From his locker after Pittsburgh’s division-clinching win over the Ravens, he talked to reporters about the victory’s importance. Specifically, he saw it as meaningful for the players to win the game for their coach.
“It’s awesome”, Freiermuth said of the Steelers clinching their first division title since his rookie year, via Mike DeFabo of The Athletic. “All the ups and downs that I’ve personally been in in this organization, but the team in general, being able to get this for Coach T [Mike Tomlin]”, he added, “it was awesome”.
