Even at age 36, Pittsburgh Steelers DL Cam Heyward is playing some of the best football of his career. His effort level is off the charts. That was evident on the opening play of the team’s Week 18 win over the Baltimore Ravens, when he chased RB Derrick Henry all the way downfield. It’s something Heyward routinely does, as he never gives up on a play. During his press conference on Thursday, defensive coordinator Teryl Austin called Heyward a “unicorn” for everything he brings to the table.
“It amazes me. I watch him and how he runs and how he plays, and there are young guys that don’t do what he does.
