The Pittsburgh Steelers lost an important piece of their offense when Darnell Washington exited last week’s game with an arm injury. The fractures in his forearm required surgery, which landed him on what many labeled season-ending IR. According to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac, there is a slim chance he could return this season.
“The only way he is coming back, I’ve been told, is if the Steelers would get to the Super Bowl. And so we know those chances might be a little slim,” Dulac said on KDKA Steelers Kickoff. “You’re not going to see Darnell Washington, even if they win tonight, you’re not going to see him next week.
