Job security is not promised in the NFL. That goes for players and coaches. However, Mike Tomlin stands as an outlier. He’s been the Pittsburgh Steelers’ head coach for 19 seasons. He’s accomplished a lot in that time, including winning a Super Bowl. However, he hasn’t won a playoff game since the 2016 season.

That’s created some restlessness among the fan base, with many wanting the Steelers to move on from Tomlin. While it doesn’t seem like he’ll be fired, NFL insider James Palmer could see another scenario in which Tomlin parts ways with the Steelers.
