Injury thrusts ex-Steelers receiver into the spotlight for Cowboys

Related Topics: CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens

Ex-Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens has gotten off to a strong start with his new team. With CeeDee Lamb there to provide extra openings, Pickens has been able to provide Dallas with the big plays he once made for the Black and Gold.

Unfortunately for Dallas, their one-two punch at wide receiver took a hit this week. Lamb suffered a high ankle sprain in Dallas’s Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears. Now, Lamb is on the injured reserve list and will be out of action for a minimum of four weeks.

As a result, Pickens becomes the Cowboys’ de facto WR1 for the next month at minimum, and Steelers fans know all too well how that works for an offense.
