The Pittsburgh Steelers address their biggest remaining offensive need in the third round, taking Michigan wide receiver Roman Wilson with the 84th overall pick.
I can’t put into words just how perfect the board has fallen for the Steelers. Wilson was a guy that was a projected mid-second round pick that may not even be there for the Steelers at 51. Instead, he slips to No. 84 and Pittsburgh snags him in the third round.
The Steelers lineup of receivers now looks as follows:
- George Pickens
- Roman Wilson
- Calvin Austin III
- Van Jefferson
- Quez Watkins
And don’t be surprised if the Steelers aren’t done making moves at wide receiver to strengthen that room.
