There are concerns from some Pittsburgh Steelers fans that Kevin Colbert didn’t do enough to address the depth at the tight end position. Some of that stems from the injury history of Vance McDonald and some believe Xavier Grimble is better suited as a third string tight end, not a primary backup.
On the record, I fall into both of those categories. I love McDonald and what he showed in 2018. He has me wanting more, but in the back of my mind I’m thinking what if Grimble has to carry the work load for several games.
