Today is the 10-year anniversary of the Pittsburgh Steelers signing Chris Boswell, a move that’s paid off better than the team could’ve ever hoped. In 2015, the Steelers were faced with a dilemma when kicker Shaun Suisham tore his ACL in the preseason. They cycled through a few names, such as Josh Scobee, that had poor results. However, that led them to Boswell, who’s been one of the best kickers in the league for years. James Harrison joked that he deserves some credit for Boswell’s success, though.
“This one dude, he’s like the coldest field goal kicker,” Harrison said Friday on his Deebo and Joe podcast.
