How serious is Darnell Washington’s arm injury?
Steelers TE Darnell Washington exited yesterday’s game in the second quarter due to injury shortly after evidently breaking his arm. The team provided precious little information about the nature of the injury, or a timeline for his return. I don’t happen to be an expert on broken bones, so I really wouldn’t know anything beyond the team’s words.
Washington has become a significant factor in his third season with the Steelers. While he isn’t a high-volume receiving threat, he is certainly hard to tackle. Teams are becoming more and more aware of that each month, routinely gang-tackling him.
