Hits to the Steelers Keep Coming as Alualu, Hilton Sign Elsewhere

There’s only so much you can do when your head is barely above water. That’s where the Pittsburgh Steelers are in terms of the salary cap so no one that pays a lick of attention should be surprised that that they were unable to keep two more guys on the team. Both Defensive Tackle Tyson Alualu and Cornerback Mike Hilton are signing elsewhere.

Alualu will return to the team that drafted him in the first round many years ago as he signs a two-year, $6 million deal to play for the Jacksonville Jaguars. I cannot state enough how important he was to the Steelers’ defensive line in recent years as both a reserve and starter.
