‘He’s Been Outstanding:’ Teryl Austin Shouts Out Unheralded Member Of Steelers Defense

The Pittsburgh Steelers brought in a familiar foe this offseason, signing longtime Ravens LB Malik Harrison. Although Harrison’s impact was primarily expected to be on special teams, he has been a reliable run-down linebacker for the Steelers. Ahead of the Steelers’ second matchup against his former team, defensive coordinator Teryl Austin had high praise for what Harrison has brought to the Steelers.

“He’s been outstanding. I know he got banged up in the first game of the year and missed some time, but since he’s been back, he’s been really good. We try to use him in the run situations, and he’s a stout run defender,” Austin said via transcript provided by the team.
