There has been a consistent theme to the way the Pittsburgh Steelers have defended the run this season. When Derrick Harmon is on the field, they usually do well. And when he’s not, things tend to be much worse. The 21st overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft has been exactly what the Steelers hoped for in his rookie season.
But Harmon thinks his teammate and mentor, Cam Heyward, should get some credit for that.
“It’s a blessing, being able to play next to Cam, man. Just from me being a kid and looking up at him and studying his game, now to being in his face, and really ask those questions.
