The Pittsburgh Steelers were awarded Adam Thielen through waivers on Tuesday, and he now joins a receiving room that desperately needs someone to take some weight off DK Metcalf’s shoulders. At the age of 35, it certainly doesn’t feel like Thielen is going to be a major contributor. But Aaron Rodgers is excited to have him in the building, and he also mentioned that Thielen feels like he’s in pretty good shape.
“He’s an outstanding guy. We’ll see how quickly he can get up to speed with the playbook. You know, I was joking with him, he said this is the best his body has felt, ’cause he hasn’t been playing a whole lot in Minnesota.
