Gentry to re-sign with Steelers

The Steelers are bringing back another one of their own.

Zach Gentry is returning to Pittsburgh, according to NFL Network. The terms of the contract have yet to be made public.

Gentry has spent his entire four-year career in Pittsburgh since the Steelers selected the former Michigan Wolverine in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. After scarcely seeing the field in his first two seasons, Gentry grew into the second tight end role behind Pat Freiermuth. At 6-8 and 265 pounds, Gentry certainly serves more in a blocking role, but can still provide the occasional play in the passing game.
