Former Steelers CB Beanie Bishop Jr. Signs With Saints’ Practice Squad

Former Pittsburgh Steelers CB Beanie Bishop Jr. is signing with the New Orleans Saints practice squad, per NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.

Bishop was waived by the Steelers during final roster cuts ahead of this season, but spent time on the team’s practice squad before being waived in early November. Originally signed by the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia, Bishop played in 17 games with six starts for the Steelers last year. He had four interceptions, including two against the New York Jets and QB Aaron Rodgers, while registering 45 total tackles, seven passes defensed, a fumble recovery and a half-sack.
