Generally, NFL rookie minicamps are for, well... rookies. But this year, the Steelers will have a veteran joining them as cornerback Anthony Averett tries out for the team.
Veteran CB Anthony Averett will be attending the #Steelers rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. He was on Detroit’s practice squad last season for several weeks and is fully healthy.

An Alabama product, Averett entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens.
