A lot of people predicted that the Indianapolis Colts were going to come into Pittsburgh on Sunday and wreck the Steelers’ defense. And based on recent results, that makes sense. The Colts scored 30+ in four straight games leading up to the game. And the Steelers had allowed 30+ points in the last two games. Plus, the Colts were the top seed in the AFC if the playoffs started.
But that’s not how things played out at Acrisure Stadium. The much-maligned Steelers’ defense forced six turnovers and limited RB Jonathan Taylor to 45 yards on 14 carries. And the Steelers snapped their two-game losing streak with a 27-20 win over the top seed in the AFC.
