Former GM: Steelers’ Defense Did ‘Really Good Job Of Bottling Up Derrick Henry’ In Sunday’s Win

Against the Buffalo Bills, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense put forth one of its worst efforts at defending the run in recent memory. On paper, things didn’t look much better on Sunday. The Steelers once again allowed over 200 rushing yards, with Baltimore picking up 217 on the ground. However, former NFL GM Ran Carthon does think Pittsburgh did well against Derrick Henry.

“The earlier part of the game, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense did a really good job of bottling up Derrick Henry. And not allowing him to get to that fifth step,” Carthon said Sunday on CBS Sports HQ.
