Former Agent Says Deal Steelers Gave Metcalf Could Set Market For Pickens

George Pickens’ career year with the Dallas Cowboys has been a frequent point of discussion in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ media sphere this season, especially with the team having held one more year of control on his rookie contract with a chance to build something special alongside DK Metcalf. Pickens not only outproduced the Steelers’ $150 million receiver, but it was Metcalf—not Pickens—who ultimately drew a suspension from the league for his actions.

The two will probably always be compared among Steelers fans, but now there might be one more reason to compare the two. Former NFL agent Joel Corry projects that Pickens’ free agent contract should come in roughly the same as the one Metcalf signed last offseason in Pittsburgh.
