The Pittsburgh Steelers have deserved a lot of criticism over the last decade. When you consider their postseason futility and overall poor plan for the post Ben Roethlisberger era, most of the criticism is warranted. At last week’s NFL Draft however, they did the right thing in terms of drafting a quarterback.
Now I always say that you can’t judge a draft for at least 2-3 years down the road and that will be no different here. As I ponder this in 2025 I have no idea if sixth round pick Will Howard will become a star. I don’t know if Shedeur Sanders or Quinn Ewers or Jaxson Dart will either.
