If there’s one thing the Pittsburgh Steelers could count on over the last handful of seasons, it’s the leg of Chris Boswell. His stellar performances have climbed the charts among the all-time best kickers, but his recent hiccups could be a cause for concern.
“I’m starting to wonder what’s going on with him,” Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Ray Fittipaldo wrote in his weekly Steelers chat. “The last thing they need going into the postseason is a kicker in a slump.”
Boswell has missed a field goal in each of the last three games, including a critical extra point that nearly cost the Steelers their season against the Baltimore Ravens.
