Film Room: What The Steelers Are Getting In CB Tre Flowers

The Pittsburgh Steelers dipped into the veteran cornerback pool once again, signing CB Tre Flowers to bolster a position group that has been stretched thin by injuries and limited depth.

At 30 years old, Flowers hasn’t been a full-time starter since his rookie contract with the Seattle Seahawks back in 2020. His time as a starter came to an end by way of a hamstring injury that landed him on IR that year, and he’s only played more than 200 snaps in one season since then.

In total, he’s only played 3,280 career snaps on defense with 75 percent of those coming over his first three seasons.
