Fans encouraged to show true colors — black and gold, of course — at events this weekend

The top two political figures in the region have declared Friday, Saturday and Sunday as #HereWeGo Days to cheer on the Steelers in preparation of Sunday's playoff game against the Jacksonsville Jaguars.

Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and Mayor Bill Peduto are encouraging fans to support the home team by helping to decorate the "Terrible Tree," located in the courtyard at the county courthouse.

On Saturday, a pep rally will be held at 6 p.m. at Stage AE on the North Shore.

Admission to the event is free. The first 1,000 fans through the door will receive a special Fathead giveaway featuring six current Steelers players.
