Pittsburgh Steelers rookie RB Kaleb Johnson made his first meaningful positive contribution to the team in Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings, running six times for 22 yards. Johnson got a big opportunity on a drive at the end of the third quarter and into the start of the fourth quarter, and Steelers running backs coach Eddie Faulkner said that was a “big boost” for Johnson.
“He was able to get a couple good runs in there, and I could feel a little bit of some of the pressures that he’d been feeling lifted off his shoulders, so I expect him to just get better and better,” Faulkner said Tuesday via 93.
