By all indications, the Pittsburgh Steelers seem unlikely to move on from head coach Mike Tomlin after this season. If owner Art Rooney II is going to eventually make a coaching change, there are numerous factors that will go into that decision. Steelers beat writer Mark Kaboly doesn’t believe that chants to fire Tomlin at home games or the opinions of minority owners are among them.
“I don’t think they care as much about fire Tomlin [chants] as empty seats. We’ll see how many people are there Sunday night. It should be full,” Kaboly said Friday on 93.
