Dylan Cook made his first NFL start on Monday, and by the looks of things, it won’t be his last. For more reason than one. For starters, the Steelers reportedly don’t expect starter Broderick Jones to return this season due to injury. In the meantime, Andrus Peat, who initially replaced him at left tacke, is still in the concussion protocol.
But equally importantly, Cook played well Monday night against the Dolphins, giving up zero pressures in pass protection and hitting some blocks in the run game. For Ray Fittipaldo, he has already seen enough. At least moving forward for 2025, he thinks Cook should start the remainder of the season.
