Dulac: Steelers Not Expecting Darnell Washington Back This Season

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Darnell Washington left the team’s Week 17 loss to the Cleveland Browns with what head coach Mike Tomlin described as a broken arm, and it sounds as if that game is the last we’ll see of Washington this season. Tomlin ruled him out ahead of Sunday’s win-or-go-home matchup with the Baltimore Ravens during his weekly press conference and said Washington underwent surgery on his arm this morning, and Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said the Steelers aren’t expecting Washington back this season.

“Mike Tomlin said TE Darnell Washington had surgery this morning on his broken arm and will not play of course vs Baltimore.
