The Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly agreed to sign Russell Wilson last Sunday night in news that was as shocking to fans as it apparently was to the team earlier that day. During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said that on Sunday night, the Steelers thought their chance to sign Wilson was over.
“Sunday night, they thought that any deal with Russell Wilson was done, was over. And then things changed in the next couple hours, and that’s why at 11:45 p.m. Sunday night, they agreed to the deal with Russell Wilson.
