The Pittsburgh Steelers’ Sunday night game against the Baltimore Ravens has ramifications that extend beyond Mike Tomlin’s future. Per the PPG’s Gerry Dulac, QB Aaron Rodgers will not return if the team loses tonight and is eliminated from the playoff race.
Dulac made the comment on 102.5 DVE during the pregame show of tonight’s regular season finale.
“I will tell you that there will be no referendum if the Steelers lose,” Dulac said on the show. “The Steelers aren’t gonna bring Aaron Rodgers back. They brought him in because they wanted to get a quarterback that can not only get him into the postseason, but maybe win a playoff game after this eight-year drought.
