The Pittsburgh Steelers lost last Sunday, but their playoff hopes got a boost Thursday night when the Baltimore Ravens were upset by the Cincinnati Bengals. That opens the door for the Steelers to potentially take the division lead again. However, even if they do that, former NFL quarterback Phil Simms doesn’t believe they’ll make any real noise in the postseason.
“For the Pittsburgh Steelers, pretenders,” Simms said recently on the Simms Complete podcast. “I don’t see them making a run against really good teams. Maybe they get one home playoff game if they get in it, but that’ll be it.
