While much of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ concern and attention from a medical standpoint center on outside linebacker T.J. Watt, who was hospitalized Wednesday with a lung issue, the other player who recently spent a night in the hospital provided an update of sorts Thursday.
That would be wide receiver DK Metcalf.
Metcalf was sent to the hospital on Sunday following the win over the Baltimore Ravens after reporting some stomach pain. The Steelers removed him from the team plane before takeoff out of an abundance of caution, causing him to stay in Baltimore overnight.
