With the Pittsburgh Steelers’ season done, they enter an off-season that will be centered around questions about the quarterback situation. Kenny Pickett has been underwhelming since being drafted, and the offense got hot when Mason Rudolph took over in the season’s final weeks. That said, Rudolph is set to be a free agent when the new league year begins, and the Steelers would likely have to give him top-notch backup quarterback money to bring him back.
Steelers’ receiver Diontae Johnson didn’t shy away when asked about Rudolph, singing the praises of his quarterback.
“I’ve been on the Mason plane, so it wasn’t nothing I wasn’t expecting for him not to do,” Johnson said about Rudolph’s play.
