Darius Slay Jr. has agreed to on a one-year, fully-guaranteed $10 million deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the veteran cornerback's agents told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Philadelphia Eagles released Slay with a post-June 1 designation to create $4.3 million in additional salary cap room.
Slay, 34, played the past five seasons in Philadelphia and put together one of the better runs at cornerback in Eagles history. He served as a captain multiple times, and appeared in 14 games last season, finishing with 13 passes defended, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery and 49 tackles.
