Pittsburgh Steelers CB Darius Slay suffered an injury during the team’s Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Slay was slow to get up after a Kimani Vidal run in the second quarter and was tended to by trainers on the field. Slay appeared to take a shot to the head in a case of friendly fire from S Kyle Dugger. Slay walked off the field flanked by members of Pittsburgh’s medical staff.
Slay has left numerous games this season with bumps and bruises, causing him to miss snaps. But he hasn’t been inactive for a game yet and serves as an important piece of Pittsburgh’s secondary, especially with Jalen Ramsey moving to safety.
