Cory Trice says he’ll be ready to go by training camp

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a very young cornerback room. Outside of Dante Jackson, every other player likely to make the roster is a rookie or second-year player.

Of those second-year players is Cory Trice, a 2023 seventh-round pick out of Purdue that many looked at as a potential steal in last year’s draft. Trice tore his ACL in training camp last summer and missed his entire rookie campaign, but has been participating in OTAs with the team. While he has yet to be completely cleared, Trice says that will change by late July.

“I’m not cleared yet,” Trice said.
