‘Completely Average:’ Fittipaldo Pans Steelers’ Offensive Line

Heading into Sunday’s game, the Buffalo Bills had only held opponents under 100 yards rushing twice this season. In fact, the Bills’ defense allowed opponents to run for over 200 yards (three times) more often than they kept opponents under 100 yards. So, it made sense that analyst Robert Mays called for the Pittsburgh Steelers to “run it 50 times.”

That never happened. The Steelers only ran the ball 18 times for 58 yards in their 26-7 loss. It was a dismal display on an evening of dismal displays for the Steelers. And insider Ray Fittipaldo thinks the issue is the offensive line.
