Comeback effort falls short as Duquesne falls to Davidson

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Duquesne trailed Atlantic 10 foe Davidson by 17 points in the second half eventually cutting the deficit to six before ultimately coming up on the losing end of the battle, 72-61.

It was the tenth loss in a row for the Dukes who fell to 6-17 with a 1-10 record in the Atlantic 10.

Freshman guard Primo Spears led the way for Duquesne with 20 points while fellow freshman guard Jackie Johnson III chipped in 14 of his own for a Dukes team that struggled mightily from the field in the first half shooting 37.
