For whoever becomes the Pittsburgh Steelers’ next head coach, Colin Cowherd has one piece of advice. Sell the farm. Do everything possible to land a first-round quarterback that would, if successful, immediately rejuvenate a franchise that’s been stuck in place. A trade for a first-round quarterback comes at a cost, but it’s a price Cowherd is willing to pay.
“If you’re Pittsburgh with all these picks, my takeaway, you give out about six of them to go get Ty Simpson in the first round,” Cowherd said on his The Herd radio show immediately following news of Mike Tomlin’s departure.
