The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced their team captains for the year. On offense, Aaron Rodgers is the sole player with that title. While Rodgers only joined the Steelers in June, he’s their starting quarterback. That puts him in a leadership position. Also, Rodgers stated that he wants to be a leader for the Steelers, and he’s been trying to step up in that department. Jaylen Warren explained why he voted for Rodgers as a captain.
“The pen was writing Aaron before I could even think what I was going to write,” Warren said Monday via the team’s website.
