Carney: Top Candidates In Steelers’ Wide-Open MVP Race

It’s the holiday season, which also means it’s just about that time in the NFL when teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers are voting for their own MVPs.

Unlike in years past, this year’s voting for Steelers MVP is wide open. Outside linebacker T.J. Watt once had a lock on the award. Last year, Watt was again voted the Steelers’ MVP, winning the award for the fifth time in six years. Though he still remains a very good player, it’s unlikely he’ll win the MVP award for a sixth time this season.

Instead, there are a number of players who could carry the vote this season.
