Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers preached accountability and needing to be better during not only practice sessions but playing better in games, too.
He then backed up that talk in the Steelers’ 27-22 win over the Baltimore Ravens Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.
Rodgers was dialed in right away, connecting with wide receiver DK Metcalf on a 52-yard deep shot on the Steelers’ first offensive play of the game. After that, Rodgers was his vintage self. Along with rushing for a touchdown and hitting his trademark Discount Double Check celebration, Rodgers completed 23-of-34 passes for 284 yards and a score.
