‘Can’t Just Keep Doing The Same Thing, Expect Different Results:’ Watt Knows Defense Must Make More Plays

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense gave up 249 rushing yards last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills in a 26-7 loss. After the game, Steelers OLB T.J. Watt spoke about how demoralizing it was for the Bills to run the same run play over and over again successfully.

Now, the Bills have one of the best rushing offenses in the league. They lead the NFL in rushing yards (1,868) and are tied for the second-highest yards-per-carry at five yards. They also have the third-most runs of 20+ yards with 11. Unfortunately, things don’t get easier this Sunday when the Steelers visit the Baltimore Ravens.
