‘Can’t Be Making These Mistakes’: T.J. Houshmandzadeh Rips Jonnu Smith For Missing Aaron Rodgers’ Signal

The Pittsburgh Steelers made plenty of mistakes in their 26-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills. One of the biggest examples came on a second down near the Bills’ end zone in the fourth quarter. That was one of the few drives where the Steelers moved the ball, and they needed to score a touchdown. Aaron Rodgers signaled Jonnu Smith to run an in-breaking route, but Smith missed it. He ran an out-breaking route instead and the Steelers ultimately turned the ball over on downs. Former NFL wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh ripped Smith for that mistake.

“When he throws that ball, that’s 100 percent on the receiver because Jonnu Smith went outside to the corner and Aaron Rodgers threw that thing to the middle,” Houshmandzadeh said recently on the Speakeasy podcast.
