Can the Steelers slow down the Bills’ top-ranked run game without Derrick Harmon?
The Steelers won’t have Derrick Harmon on Sunday when they take on the Bills, James Cook, and their top-ranked run game. With 1,619 yards on the ground, they have accumulated more mileage through that mode of transportation than any other team. And Pittsburgh is just in the middle of the pack in terms of run defense.
Cook is just one of two running backs with a 1,000-yard season, but the Steelers—with Derrick Harmon—managed to contain the other. At the beginning of the month, they held Jonathan Taylor and the Colts in check, largely by forcing turnovers and disrupting rhythm.
