Season Two of Pittsburgh Steelers DL Cameron Heyward’s Not Just Football podcast debuted on Wednesday, and during the podcast Cameron talked about his little brother, Connor. Cameron thinks Connor will have an expanded role as he enters his second NFL season and can be a guy who creates mismatches.
“I think Connor, they didn’t want to overload a first-year player. Now, I think in his second year he feels more comfortable,” Cameron Heyward said. “He has more grasp of the playbook, and they’re gonna ask him to do some different stuff. During the offseason this year, I saw him going into a lot of different meetings and not having the defined role of just the fullback or just the tight end.
